Just like that….the Stoner and the Scholar Sports Show was born! I am “The Scholar” and host of the show. On today’s episode, I feature my good friend David Richey “The Stoner” as a guest and we discuss all things sports. Credit to David for the show title. David has been a close friend of mine for well over a decade and one commonality that has kept our friendship so strong is talking sports. In today’s episode, I introduce David and we go over some high level casual sports topics just to get the show rolling. We look forward to taking a deeper dive as we meet more frequently. On this episode you can look forward to hearing our thoughts on the Detroit Lions draft, as well as the state of all of our rebuilding teams. We touch on the impending NBA playoff landscape, as well our thoughts on the most recent UFC fight cards and if YouTube “stars” are good or bad for combat sports.
